As EXCLUSIVELY reported yesterday by Kwaraleaks, Mr. Ishola Balogun Fulani, the elsewhere Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State late yesterday took to the press and formally apologized to the leadership of the APC in Kwara state for claiming that there was no APC structure in the state.
Kwaraleaks had reported yesterday that the delicate relationship between the existing members of the APC in the state and the break-away faction of the PDP who defected into the APC was being further threatened by certain statements credited to Mr. Fulani on Wednesday. While briefing the media on the state of the party vis-à-vis their defection into the APC, Mr. Fulani has impertinently claimed that as far as he knew, there was no structure of the APC in the state, and that all existing members of the APC will ‘be accommodated’ in the scheme of things in the party.

The Kwara State House of Assembly witnessed yet another day of rage penultimate Thursday as the Deputy Speaker, Prof. Issa Gana, walked out Hon. Ibrahim Baakini from the hallow chambers of the Assembly. E-Kwara reliably learnt that trouble started when Hon. Umar Aliyu Monde who represents Gwanabe/Adena/Bani/Gweria constituencies in the House made some uncomplimentary remarks about Ilorin and its indigenes while contributing to the debate on a private member bill which seeks to regulate the haphazard location and spread of local markets in the state.

All Hail the Emperor!
This photos here shows Hon. Sikira Anako, who represents Odo-ogun in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara profusely hand-fanning the elsewhere Governor of Kwara State and self-styled leader of the new PDP in Kwara State. Hon. Anako, is also doubles as the Deputy Chief Whip in the Kwara State House of Assembly was on the entourage of Sen. Bukola Saraki to the service of songs which held at the 1st Baptist Church, Babanloma, in honour of late Prof. Albert Ogunshola.
Mr. Saraki has strenuously attempted to ward off the toga of his alleged arrogance without success. This photo evidence no doubt will further bolster Mr. Saraki’s critics who claim that he is arrogant and stone-headed, the reason why he has lost so many high profile political friends in recent times.

Ilorin, the Kwara state capital is presently witnessing an unusual presence of men and officers of the Armed forces, Police and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC). The massive detachments, Kwaraleaks learnt minutes ago, might not be unconnected with the marriage ceremony of the ward of the Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Admiral Ola Sa’ad, who is an indigene of Ilorin.

The delicate relationship between the original members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State and their defecting friends from the PDP was further threatened Wednesday as a result of the press briefing made by the elsewhere PDP Chairman, Hon. Ishola Balogun-Fulani, Kwaraleaks can authoritatively report.

The defection of the break-away faction of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State has been fingered as the main factor behind the continued delay in the composition of a new State Executive Council (SEC) in the state. Authoritative sources within the government circle in the state revealed last night to Kwaraleaks that but for the defection of Dr. Bukola Saraki, Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed and their supporters from the PDP to the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state, a ‘brand new’ State Executive Council, comprising of Commissioners, Senior Special Advisers and Special Assistants would have been inaugurated.
